Carvin introduced the Cobalt line in 2001, in response to customer's requests for an inexpensive acoustic model that was superior in quality to typical acoustic guitars offered by big box music retailers. These fine acoustics are carefully handcrafted overseas to our strict and exact specifications, but unlike similar instruments by other manufacturers, the Cobalt acoustics undergo a thorough quality check at our San Diego facility, and are set-up by our skilled luthiers prior to shipment. Additionally, Cobalt guitars are covered by the same 5-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects that protects our Custom Shop instruments. Carvin's Cobalt guitars are loaded with features usually reserved for more expensive models, and with Carvin's commitment to quality, you can be assured that your new Cobalt guitar will give you years of playing enjoyment.
