Carvin offers a wide selection of bass guitars, in 4, 5 and 6 string configurations, with passive and active/passive electronics and in various configurations such as neck-through, bolt-on neck and semi-hollow acoustic/electric. Carvin basses are available with many pickup and electronic configurations, including soapbar pickups, Alnico V HB Series pickups, stacked humbuckers, and piezo. All Carvin basses are offered in right-handed and left-handed versions. You can design your Custom Shop bass exactly the way you want it by choosing from our hundreds of body wood, top wood, neck, fingerboard, inlay, finish, hardware & electronic options, ensuring your new Carvin bass will be totally unique, and suited to your own personal tastes. | TBS4 Timothy B. Schmit Signature Series Passive Bass |  | | Carvin designed the TBS4 to Eagles bassist Timothy B. Schmit's personal specifications. Timothy perfers a less-complicated electronics package, and the TBS4 delivers that, with a single volume control and passive electronics. The TBS4 is based on the LB70, with upgraded features such as an AAAA flamed maple top, tung-oiled neck no inlays on the fingerboard. The body is alder, and the neck-through maple neck is 1/16" thinner than the LB70 neck. The TBS4 can be customized with many options from the Custom Shop, allowing you to create a unique and personal instrument. | Standard Features:

| XB75 Extended Scale 5-String Active Bass |  | | The XB75 extended scale 5-string bass is designed for the bassist who appreciates a tighter low B-string than is sometimes found on 34" scale basses. At 35¼", the longer scale produces more punch, but is just as comfortable to fret as a 34" scale bass. Physically, the XB75 is the same size as Carvin's LB models; the longer scale length is acheived by moving the bridge and reducing the number of frets to 22. The AxeTrak® is hand made and constructed using only the finest components to insure years of great sounding trouble free recordings. The cabinet is made from high quality, hardwood plywood for a warm, tight sound. One of the features that makes the new version of the AxeTrak® so flexible is the fact that you can now adjust the placement and axis of the internal microphone. For High gain applications you may want to have the mic turned slightly off axis for a smoother less shrill type of tone. For recording clean rhythms you may want the microphone direct on axis with the speaker to capture a brighter tone with more presence and snap. The AxeTrak® also features an easy access "Deep Plug" that can be easily removed for ultra deep bass response if desired, and a “High Frequency Roll-Off Switch” for guitarists that want more of a dark, less present type of sound, with less sizzle. The heavy-duty 6" driver used in the AxeTrak® is custom made for our unique application.
